It's slow going since I'm learning how sketchup works, but I know that once the 3D model is finished it must be unfolded, and the only program I see to do this is Pepakura.
I am working on something I have never done before: a paper model, designed in Google Sketchup, from scratch as a gift. Ultimate Papercraft 3D is not available for Mac but there are some alternatives that runs on macOS with similar functionality.
